A simple horse who loves routine, the beautiful Wild Current requires patience. She is talented, but has a little wildness in her that we'll probably never rid her of completely. She has developed the quirky habit of often running with her mouth wide open. Her silhouette graces the front page of Coldwater Creek Farm in a photograph taken at Arlington when she was three years old.

    Runs fairly well, from what I've seen.
    Responds well to urging, picks up speed.
    Still strong after a mile and more. Can't be certain, but she looks durable.
    A trainer's dream - always gives her best. Very consistent.
    I'd say this filly would show noticeable improvement at steeplechasing.
    Seems to run like a sprinter, though I'm not completely sure.
    Runs alertly with the others during practice. Seems to be a good sign.
