May be somewhat lacking in natural speed.
I haven't noticed any real notable burst of extra speed.
Seems to hold together at least to a mile. I'm not certain beyond that.

You'd be making a mistake if you don't train this one for steeplechase.
A closer. Moves late. Expect some hairy finishes at the track.
