    DETAILS

    My Little Firefly is a Coldwater Creek homebred and loved to jump even as a baby, when the yearling manager would stand along the fenceline and compare her to a carousel horse as she soared over the dips and valleys of her pasture, easily outpacing most of her herdmates. She raced at ages three and four after sitting out her juvenile season to train for jumps and became the farm's first female champion in 2002.
