| Ted Christopher enters rich DNK Select 250 at Unity Unity, Maine � Connecticut racing legend Ted Christopher of Plainville is the latest addition to the growing, star-studded entry list for the $152,000-plus DNK Select 250 at Unity Raceway on Sunday, June 13. Christopher will drive the C&G Motorsports entry for owners Clinton Teague and George Cairns out of Atkinson, New Hampshire in the biggest short track race of the New England racing season in 2004, sanctioned by the Pro All Stars Series. Christopher is the all-time feature race victory leader in NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series competition at the Stafford Motor Speedway, where he is a multi-time track champion. Christopher was crowned 2001 NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series National Champion, on the strength of fourteen wins in eighteen feature starts at New England�s fastest weekly track, Thompson International Speedway. The Northeast�s busiest frequent feature winner has nailed down nine track championships on Connecticut�s NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series ovals, as well as a New England Regional NASCAR title, earned the year prior to his winning the national NASCAR title. Among Christopher�s eight wins in NASCAR Busch North Series competition are four at New Hampshire International Speedway. Lime Rock, Nazareth, Stafford and Watkins Glen have also been conquered in Busch North Series competition by the legendary �TC.� He�s won over a dozen NASCAR Featherlite Modified series races, and has seen victory lane in ISMA Supermodified and NEMA Midget action during his career. Christopher joins an impressive list of early entries that includes Aubuchon Hardware-sponsored Andy Santerre, the two-time and defending champion of the NASCAR Busch North Series, and Ben Rowe, the two-time and defending champion of the Pro All Stars Series. Rowe, of Turner, Maine, won the lone PASS race contested at Unity Raceway during the 2003 season. Over thirty drivers have already entered the DNK Select 250 at Unity Raceway, including last year�s $100,000 Big Dawg Challenge winner Sud�n Sam Sessions, the first-evr champion of the Pro All Stars Series. Former Maine Pro Stock track champions Scott Chubbuck, Duane Seekins and Big John Phippen have entered, as has reigning Oxford Plains Speedway champion Ricky Rolfe. The 2003 PASS runner-up, Johnny Clark, has signed up, along with several other PASS regulars, including �The Kernel,� Scott Mulkern, Richie Dearborn, Chuck Lachance and Randy Turner. |
