DNK Select 250 tickets, entries available at winter car shows

Unity, Maine Promoter John Crawford and the staff at Unity Raceway are hitting the road throughout the pre-season months, drumming up interest in New Englands biggest one-day short track racing event of 2004, the DNK Select 250 at Unity Raceway on Sunday, June 13.
Crawford and DNKs Doug White kicked off their winter show tour early in January at the annual Northeast Motorsports Expo in Augusta, Maine, where many happy race fans secured excellent reserved seating for the $150,000-plus event, sanctioned by the Pro All Stars Series.  Crawford and White also got close to two dozen Pro Stock drivers to pay the early entry fee for the DNK Select 250 at Unity at that show.
The next stop for DNK Select Used Cars and Unity Raceway this winter is the annual Racin Preview 2004 show at The Expo in Portland, Maine Friday and Saturday, February 20-21. Several Unity Raceway competitors and many cars and stars from the Pro All Stars Series will be on hand at that event, and plenty of good reserved seating will be available for the DNK Select 250 at the Unity Raceway display.
Were looking forward to the Portland show, and hoping to sign up a lot more drivers for the DNK Select 250, Crawford said. We especially would like to talk with guys about our DNK Select New England Championship Super Street race that pays $6000-to-win this year, he added.
After that the Unity Raceway contingent heads south for Racearama 2004, Friday through Sunday, March 5-7, at The Big E in West Springfield, Massachusetts.  Crawford hopes to attract interest for both of his DNK classics, each the biggest race scheduled for its respective division in the six-state New England region this year, at that pre-season showcase.
