www.eccentrix.com/members/livingston/
Sandy was presented with the Racing Spectator's "Driver of the Year" award. This award was earned based on voting by fans from all over the Maritimes through the Racing Spectator web site. In all Livingston Jr garnered 48% of 1300 votes to claim this title.
Livingston Jr has decided to enter the Pro Stock ranks in 2004 and building is well underway. " My goal is to finish in the top 10 in the Shediac series and win "Rookie of the Year" honors" Livingston stated. The chassis is built and waiting for a powerplant to be installed. The quest is on for a major sponsor to help him finish the machine. " It's an expensive operation and it's hard to be competitive with teams that have large bankrolls" Livingston added. Livingston needs a sponsor willing to part with about 10,00 dollars to put it all together and be competitive.
When asked his feelings on winning the Driver of the Year award, Livingston said " I'm surprised of all the fans out there. It pays to come from a small town, I guess. I'd like to give special thanks to Mike Raeburn and his team for all their help and cooperation, as well as my dad, who makes the wheels turn."
