Actual cash prize amounts will not be known until the end of the 2007 season, once all entries are submitted. The current amount can be seen on our main page. The over all cash prize amount will be posted as soon as the race is over at Homestaed, Miami. Once all donations are received, 50% percent will be set aside and donated to the Victory Junction Gang. The remaining 50% will be divided among the top five eligible finishers and distributed as follows:

Here is an example if 1,000 people made donations to the contest.
1,000 people X $5.00 per person=$5,000 dollars
50%, $2,500 will be donated to the Victory Junction Gang.
The remaing $2,500 dollars would be divided as follows:
$1,000 will go to the overall contest winner.
2nd=$500
3rd=$400
4th=$300
5th=$200
(with the remaining $100 going to general website maintenance and cost for mailing raffle prizes)

The racing Pick 'Em Staff will ensure that the top five cash prize winners at the end of the season does not include someone who did not give a donation.

(If there are any names within the top five that did not donate they will be automatically dropped to sixth place on down and everyone else moved up to fill the top five. So the highest place a non donating player can reach at the end of the contest is sixth place. But don't worry, sixth through last place will all be eligible for gifts from the raffles.
First through Fifth place will not be eligible for raffles becasue we feel that the prize money itself will be enough for each of the top five finishing players.

There will also be other prizes which will mainly be a variety of nascar products donated to the contest. The 6th through last place finishers of the contest will have the chance to win these prizes through numerous drawings depending on how many items are donated to the contest. Please visit the SPONSORS PAGE to learn who is contributing to the contest raffles. Every contestant 6-last place will be entered in every raffle.
