Curtis Gets Ready for 2003 DeWITT, MI (March 9, 2002)-I've finaly got plans ready for 2003. They can be found on the news page. A dwarf car is a 5/8 scale 1929-1941 car or pick up truck. They run motorcycle engines - most run 1100cc Suzuki and Kawasaki, although some drivers opt to go with the 750cc Suzuki. The cars have to weigh 1250lbs at then end of the race with driver with the 1100cc. With the 750cc, the driver has to weigh only 1150lbs. We run on mainly 1/4 mile tracks, with a few 3/8 mile tracks. We have run a few 1/2 miles, and were clocked at 130mph.
