Formula Three

In Macau International F3 Gp, Mika, Schumacher, and Eddie Irvine are here to compete for two heat F3 race. The time in both heat will add together to determine the final result. Mika again got the pole position, he won the first heat easily with 2.66s margin over second man Schumacher. Mika only need to finish within 2.66s behind Schumacher to win overall. at the start of second heat, Mika had a bad start and give the lead to Schumacher, Mika was second, stayed there, and get closer and closer, 0.6s, then 0.4, 0.4, 0.7, 0.6, 0.5, 0.4, 0.3, 0.2, 0.3, 0.5 on lap 13 of the 15, then.....

Autosport reported that " Hakkinen was closer than ever before to Schumacher's gearbox as they rounded the right-hand kink past the pits. Then he pulled out to the right to jink past Schumacher, but Schumacher moved right a fraction to block him. Hakkinen clipped the rear wing of Schumacher, his car then spearing left into the barrier and retired. Hakkinen hopped from his car, then hurled his gloves at the ground in a display of titanic despair. He cried besides the circult afterward. Although Schumacher loss the rear wing, he finished the second heat and won the overall. Irvine got third, long distant behind Schumacher.

It seems that what Schumacher did is similar to what he did in 1994 with Hill and 1997 with Villinevene. But of course Mika should won the race if he keep on stay behind Michael and not trying to overtake him......

One week later, they go to Japan Fuji with a badly damaged car from Macau. Since the car was damaged too badly, so Mika did not qualify and the race was won by Michael Schumacher who won both Macau and Fuji beacuse of the incidence.
