Cinderella is a young maiden who is forced by her stepfamily to wait on them. She wishes to go to the Kings Festival, and relies on her mothers grave for help. In the reaminder of Act 1 she runs away from the prince, always through the woods. At the end of the first Act Cinderella marries the prince. In the second Act she sets off once more into the woods. In this Act she is betrayed by the Prince, falls in love with the baker and succeeds in killing the giant with Jack, Little Red, and the Baker. |
