| Into The Woods by Rachy171 |
| Welcome!! Welcome to my unofficial tribute page to the fantastic musical Into The Woods by Steven Sondheim and James Lapine. Into the Woods brings to musical life the well known fairy-tales of Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, Rupunzel and introduces us to a new family of the baker and his wife whose longing for a child is crushed by a spell that the Witch (who happens to be Rupunzel's mother) has cast on their family. Their perfect world falls apart in Act II when Jack becomes greedy and steals too much from the Giant and his wife, Cinderella throws the other bean away, the bakers wife having an affair with Cinderella's Prince, and the witch losing her powers. All in all a marvellous show to go and see, check out the performances link to see if there is a show in your area! |
