To Bitch & Complain

It's kinda weird not believing in God yet having the habit of saying Merry Christmas.  Lastnight Karen and Craig slept over - we got some alcohol and sat around listening to music, sharing secrets (me stupidly admitting TOO much) and smoking cigarettes.  It was a comfortable evening and then this morning Craig and I walked down to the beach while Karen got her beauty sleep and we ate doritos and drank coke and then came back home where we ate jelly & icecream.  Heh.
Yesterday I received a box full of gifts from Mum, and the day before another box of presents - I'm really spoilt,  She's really helped me out SO much since moving back to Oz and I really appreciate it.  I'm a wreck without her.  I'm not necesserily homesick, but just missing the perks of American life - CNN, Court TV, Chilis, Baskin Robbins etc.  But yeah, I DO miss Mum and Mels and Joel - but I keep in close contact with them anyway.
A LOT has happened in the past few weeks.  I moved house, living by the beach now (a road away!) and the train station is directly next to my house and there's a delicious thai restaurant up on the corner.
Mick and I had somehwhat of a fling for the past few weeks and it felt comfortable, real comfortable.  We umm.. hmmm, yeah.  He's goine to Wagga though, with his brother.  He might be back, he might not.  I miss him though.  A week ago, I think, Mick and I were sitting at his house around 1am and there was a knock on the door and it was his brother, Tom, who had driven 700 kms to see him.  Tommy's a great guy though - real funny and Mick-like.
I've been spending a LOT of time with Craig - I think I've seen him everyday since I've been here minus a day or two.  He has this cool, super, unreal jeep which has no roof... (very technical here) so it's wonderful driving with the sun on your face and water splashed all over the place :P
My new housemate is awesome - he has a 3 yr old son who is a little cutie and Craig did a bit of babysitting this morning while Karen and I were sleeping :D
So life is ok here - really going well, a little hard, but the Cini family has taken me under their wing and I almost feel like their very own daughter.
As soon as I get pictures of my place (my bedroom is SO cool), I'll be on the computer uploading images... but until then I have baked beans to consume and a cigarette to smoke.
