So, I'm sitting there in the class just thinking "what am i going to do?" so i go ask her what I should do because I don't have the disk (even though I went down to the Central campus yesterday and today and this morning the guy in the bookstore told me that they didn't have any of those CD's in stock ~they had about 50 of the TOM software things on the shelf but tHAT's not what I need.~ he even checked in the back room and stuff!)
And my teacher, of course, doesn't really care and she's like "that's too bad....you need that disk" but then she said "don't worry about it" I'm thinkin' "WHAT?"....don't worry about it...you're going to fail all the tests that you have to take with that but "don't worry about it?" lol!....i'm ok now.
We didn't even take the multiple choice test part b/c the teacher never turned it on. The rest of the people in the class just finished their labs while the instructor tried to figure out how to fix the SAM software....and then when she finally did she signed everyone on.(except me and this other dude who didn't have the software either b/c he bought a book from last year and it didn't have the software in it) and all the students did the practice test on there to see how it worked. I didn't do it b/c I didn't have, but I watched sarah do hers. Then, in my boredom, I started looking on the CPCC website for an online bookstore ~i had heard rumor tell that there was one~ and after a long time searching the site, I found it and the software that I needed and after class was over I called my mom on Sarah's cell phone and bought it. so I'm hoping that it comes by Tuesday. We are rescheduling the test for the first thing Tuesday morning. So...that will be good if I get the CD in time. I don't even need the program that is on the disk, though! All I need is the code in the back of the book that comes with it. The software is all on the computers in the class already, we just need the code to put in the computer when we sign on and create a username. |
