Dear Lord, Thank You for this beautiful day and for the sun and trees and just everything. I know that this world is fallen, but Your creativity and Your beauty still shine through it as it groans for renewal. My head is in a jumble today, Father, and I feel so insignificant and unable to face all of the problems that keep coming my way. I know that You have created me and You have a plan for me. Lord, help me to trust You in everything and stop thinking that this is my life to live. I wouldn't last a day without You, not a moment, and I know that for a fact. You are so good to me. I can't believe You love me! I do love you, Father, and I'm so glad that You have saved me from myself and given me life. You are all I need to not only get by, but to live a victorious life for You. My life is truly in You. It's in your hands. I love You and I trust Your awesome perfect way. Help my lack of faith, Lord. Help me stop worrying and remember Whose perfect hands my life and my future are in. That card from the retreat fell out of my Bible yesterday...."What do I fear?", "That I will make the wrond choices in life decisions." I do fear that, Father, but I know that You love me.....enough that You sent Your only Son to die for me, and that Your love will never let me down. You know exactly what is right for me and will help me and show me the right way when the time comes. Father, I give you this fear. I've been holding onto this boulder for too long, it's weighing me down. Take my life and let it be glorifying to You and You alone. Don't let me get in the way. But show me Your way. I love You. Thank You forever for Your Son, my love and my life.
Love always- Your child,
rachel

you will hear, O Lord my God."
~Psalm 39:4,7~

and what is the measure of my days,
that I may know how frail I am...
And now, Lord, what do I wait for?
My hope is in You."
~Nehemiah 6:16~
And it happened, when all our enemies heard of it, and all the nations around us saw these things, that they were very disheartened in their own eyes, for they percieved that this work was done by our God."
~Nehemiah 8:6~
"And Nehemiah blessed the Lord, the great God. Then all the people answered, "Amen, Amen!" while lifting up their hands. And they bowed their heads and worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground."
