Quote of the day: (as heard on the voicemail of my mom's phone.. haha) "HEY YEAH! this is your mother.....or bonnie. leave a message and I'll call you back"
hahaha! That was great! I felt like doing something a little different today because this same ole' same ole' is getting to me. Yesterday I had my computer final AND my writing test for English 111. They were ok. I did pretty good on the computer test even though I was thinking that we would be doing a review and taking the test this Thursday (tomorrow) oh well. I got a lower score on that test than on any other in that class....(168 out of 200), but I still got an ok A on the overall scores. haha. Sarah and I were the only ones who went on the class message board! lol. We saw it on the required list and I was like, we better do THAT! haha. Then @ 2 we went down to the southwest campus to take th writing test. I chose the "is teh government responsible for informing and edcucating the American people about health and safety risks such as smoking, drinking, and driving without seatbelts?" haha. I chose to write about how the government SHOULD, even though I don't believe that they are responsible to do that for that. I had more examples and argumentative reasons for the other side. so aaaaanyways.....
Today was exciting and fun....and tiring. I didn't get ANY schoolwork done, which was a bummer b/c I will have twice as much to do tomorrow. aww....it's ok though, I can do it. So, here's what happened.....
So yeah.....we stayed @ Best Buy for about 3 hours!!!!! ooooh. that woman could kill me with all of her patented most-annoying-customer questions! Maybe that's why I'm not in retail? no....i'm not in anything....my mother being annoying should make me want to get a job. and i do, but when and where and HOW? THAT is the question. She bugged these employees to death i'm sure, but they were very helpful and informative. They really knew their stuff. Circuit City's employees, however, were a different story. We went there later tonight to compare prices and I ended up comparing the employees. Man....the camera guy didn't know WHAT he was talking about and it was almost the same story for the stereo lady and the computer guy. They were all just like, "well, do you want to buy this one, or this one." I liked Best Buy better because they told us all of the differences between the products and helped us to decided which features were most important and how valuable each option was. very good. We were talking to the computer guy and bringing our "shopping" to a close (@ Best Buy) and Sarah called from work asking us to bring her some pizza from Portofino's for her break. So we went over there and got some pizza and rolls (with which I almost totally messed up my filling. These were new-jersey quality rolls if you know what I mean, like north plainfield Bagel place new joisey-ish.and one bit on the wrong side of my mouth was all i needed to FEEL that filling. haha....my mouth was still numb though.....(wow...i was just thinking...this page is probably going to be forever long! haha! too bad for the person who dares to read the WHOLE THING! ....that will probably be me. All other parties, by this point have dropped like flies because of the boredom of someone else's pretty much boring life! oops sorry! hahaha~ if you ARE a trooper, like email me or something!) Portonfino's=Mmm hmm. Then we went to um....i can't remember now.....oh yeah...here comes...are ya ready....we went......
TO THE DMV! (i was praying the whole way there!!!) and guess what!!!! i might want to make you guess and scroll down forever like one of those cheesy forwards about chain letters or getting kissed by your boyfriend if you send it to 50 people....hahaha....i will!!....except not FOREVER....just a little while.... I PASSED!!!!!!! yessness!!! it was the bomb! and my pitcure ACTUALLY came out good.....too bad i have to exchange it in a month and a half!!! that's right. a limited lisence can only be issued to someone nuder 18......so when i turn 18 in a month, my restricted lisence EXPIRES! what a big ugly booger!!!!! 4 real! so yeah....all I have to do is go get it renewed when i'm 18 and get a new picture. whooosh! ok...so that was fun, wasn't it? The driver instructor guy...or the test dude, or whatever, was like SO much nicer this time....man....i think that those DMV people have mood swings. b/c this lady that was in line with us told my mom that the other guy who was really nice to us one time was cruel to her daughter and failed her the first time she took the test! aww! weirdness. But yeah...the freaky-DMV guy was actually nice! And I most certainly DID do what i had determined to (SHTOP like crazy and sit @ all stop signs for ATLEAST 5 seconds. it worked too. The car kinda jerked into a stop.....and the guy didn't seem to notice...but I knew that my stops were COMPELTE! hahaha) that was funn-ay.
After THAT huge episode we went to circuit city and spent a loooooong time there until my feet started to hurt from standing around. These new boots that I have never worn before didn't help either. That was long and tedious and boring. After that we went to the mall and got me a sweater and went to arby's so my mom could try their mozzarella sticks. and then FINALLY! we came home. whoo!
I am really tired. tomorrow, if the Lord doesn't come back before then!!!! (that would be an AWSEOME tomorrow!!!!) I'm gonna go to CPCC with sarah and then to the ornament thing @ mrs. whatley's house! yay!!!!! i DO get to go back to CP west!!!! yesss!!!! one last time. sniffle* So yeah. I am very tired and I have to go to bed so I can get up tomorrow and read my Bible and talk to my Heavenly Father about everything. He's so amazing. He's MY FATHER!!! can you believe that!!!!!!! ahhh!!!!!! i lead a more than blessed life. Have a wonderful day (whenever this is!) and may you begin to see the many blessings that you have been given. I love you by the GRACE of my God and Father!!!!
Oh yes, for getting my lisence, I would first of all, love to thank my gracious Savior and God, Jesus, because He has taught me that all authority is placed here by God, and that driving is a priviledge that I should be grateful for and obey every traffic and law that the Lord has placed over me to protect and keep me. :o) I would also like to thank my parents for raising me to obey authority and also to think for myself. My sister for being a good role model for me in some areas of driving (be they NOT obeying the speed limit oftentime), my grandma MG who will hopefully give me her totally cool avalon when she decides that she needs a new car. The freaky-DMV guy for not being so freaky today and observing the wonderfully complete stops that I have come to make. And last but not least, Jason Wilson of Auto Zone on Franklin Blvd. for toiling over our broken driver side mirror and applying the new one so that all of this could be possible. thank you. thank you all. (oh yesh....and i also wanna thank the little people thanks y'all too-ta-loo! :o)
