Currently listening to:
Along the Way by Kevin So
There's a full moon tonight
and the stars are shining bright
Freedom is calling your name
Well your day job has gotten old
So pack your bags, let's hit the road
We'll find shelter along the way

Along the way there'll be plenty a good time
And we won't need a nickel no we won't need a dime
You'll be all right, what more can I say?
We'll find shelter along the way
Where we're going I don't know yet
But don't be concerned about that
Stick with me we will be okay
Coz there'll be good whisky and good wine
There's be hippies good friends of mine
We'll find shelter along the way

I'd like to submit the following evidence as proof of my short attention span:

Exhibit A: The new layout.
Thank goodness for copy and paste short cuts. S2, my apologies if this layout doesn't suit the pending graphics in progress. I'll just change it again when they're done (I'll probably be tired of the present one by then anyway).

Exhibit B: Past hour's activities.

  • 12 minutes--Play guitar.
  • 8 minutes--Wash dishes.
  • 5 minutes--Put laundry in rinse cycle.
  • 3 minutes--Look through fridge.
  • 10 minutes--Reply to emails.
  • 5 minutes--Watch a part of Billy Elliot.
  • 5 minutes--Read few pages of Joyce Carol Oates, We Were the Mulvaneys
  • 2 minutes--Look through fridge.
  • 2 mintues--Heat up last night's pizza.
  • 20 seconds--Last night's pizza consumed.
  • 6 minutes--Work on lyrics.
  • 2 minutes--Look through fridge.

Exhibit C: Yearning for a new scene.
I've listened to nothing else but Kevin So for the past few days. And right now, the words to his song, "Along the Way", express exactly what I've been feeling lately. I have this increasing urge to hit the road and see where it takes me. But it would be ideal to have someone accompany me along the way. Anyone up for an adventure?
