When I first decided to draw the ravens, in October, I drew the one from the photograph. Then I wanted to draw one flying, so I spent the next month and a half observing ravens and crows. On the first day of these observations, I saw one land, and thought it looked really cool. This drawing doesn't really do it justice, what with the messed up-looking wings.
