THE "FURRY" OGDEN CHILDREN
We just wanted to show you some fun pictures of our furry children!
I am in the process of learning how to make an actual site ... until then, the one page will have to do!
This is Bridget!   She is our final furry addition. She is a nutty, but beautiful girl!
She and Max are not really good friends right now ... hopefully they will learn to love each other soon!   She is allergic to tartar build-up on her teeth so we have to make sure her teeth stay pretty clean!
Her estimated birth year is 1997.
This is Alvin! He is a super friendly boy and our only short hair kitty!  We were fostering him for a local animal shelter when Wayne fell in love!
His estimated birth year is 1999.
Here is sweet little Sterling.  He showed up on our doorstep in 1997 and we couldn't turn him away!  We had planned to find him a "better" home, but feel in love and decided he was staying with us!
Sweet Sterling left us for kitty heaven on October 24, 2002.
Our best guess is he passed away due to complications caused by Irritable Bowel Disease.
We loved him tons and miss him terribly.
Rest in Peace Sweet Sterling!
This is Max in his favorite seat in the house.  Max is a daddy's boy and is happiest when Wayne is home to spend time with him!  Max was found in a taped up cardboard box when he was about 4 weeks old!
He's been with us ever since!
Like many Ausinites he suffers from seasonal allergies.
His estimated birth year is 1998.
This is Vivian in her "dead kitty pose"
She loves to sleep this way.  She also loves to sleep under the covers!
Vivian is our "special" girl.  She has a rare condition called Diabetes Insipidus.  It's nothing like regular Diabetes (we don't know why the name has Diabetes in it!)  Basically her body does not produce the hormone that processes water.  Before we had a diagnosis, she would drink a gallon of water a day and urinate all of it out.  She now takes a shot of DDAVP twice a day.  She prefers it when her daddy gives the shots because she says he's nicer about it!    She was a shelter kitty and came to live with us after the shelter decided they could no longer pay for her treatment ...I can tell you she's much happier with us!
Vivian's estimated birth year is 1995.
This is TC (stands for Tuxedo Cat).  He is a mama's boy.  He loves to be near Rachel as much as he can!   He had a rough start and a bad infection caused him to have a ton of surgeries from the time he was about 12 weeks old.  He's fine now, but we like to call him our little "sex change" kitty!
His birthday is October 31, 1998
And last but not least here is Cammie our lone dog! She'd love a doggy friend but will have to put up with her kitty friends for awhile!
Poor little Cammie was abused in her previous home.  When she arrived at the shelter she had no hair and was just terrified.  After she stole our hearts and we brought her home it took her a long time to trust Wayne.  Now she thinks he's the best!  She is sometimes timid around men she doesn't know, but she is slowly getting used to meeting strangers!  She has skin and flea allergies so she needs medication daily!
Her estimated birth year is 1999.
