1. Do you hate rats?

A---Yes, because they are ugly.

B---Yes, they are so nasty.

2. Have you ever eaten rats?

A---Yes, because you can eat every kind of animals that you like in China.

B---Yes, people eat rats to make their bodies feel warm in China.

3. Did rats cause any problems in your community?

A---Yes, they destroy the food and sometimes will attack people.

B---Yes, they hid at everywhere, when people are sleeping, they will go out and eat all the food they see.

4. Were there any possible ways to prevent rats in your community?

A---I think the best way is to use the poison.

B---Yes, the ways to kill rats are to use poison, and snap traps.

5. Do you know any kinds of diseases caused by rats?

A---No, I haven't known any kind of diseases that are caused by rats.

B---I know two kindss of diseases caused by rats.

6. Do you know the name of the pestilence that caused much dead long time ago in Europe?

A---I don't know.

B---Yes, it called plague is a deadly disease cause by Rattus Noryegicus.

7. Do you know when do rats appear and where do they appear?

A---Yes, I do. They usually appear at night and wet, dirty places.

B---They appear on street, alley, everywhere that is dirty, and has food in it at night.

8. How many ways do you know how to cook rats?

A---I have eaten rats cooked with Chinese sauce and peanuts on top.

B---I knew just one way, it is fried rats with Chinese sauce peanuts on it. Actually it tastes very good.

9. How many types of rats do you know?

A---Only one.

B---I knew six types of rats, Rattus Norvegicus, Rattus Rattus, Mus Musculus, Roof Rat, Norway Rats, and House Mouse.

10. Why do you think rats are a problem in the United States?

A---I believe rats carry diseases to people.

B--- Because rats' quantities are more than human's quantities in New York.
