| This probably isn't the first scene that came to your mind when you clicked on the link for this page! This is the Philbrook Art Museum, built by one of the many oil magnates in Tulsa. Matt and I went here in December, 2001. | |||||||||||||||||||
| These are some shots of the university housing we lived in (sorry about the darkness). It wasn't the most pleasant apartment, and it was clearly built for students to live in. The one advantage to living in this little cave was that it was incredibly easy to keep cool during those 90-degree July days. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Note the Czech National Emblem above our sink. It is in the same spot in our new apartment. | |||||||||||||||||||
| This is Spavinaw Lake. Oklahoma doesn't have any natural lakes, but there are quite a few beautiful lakes built by damming up rivers. This lake provides the city of Tulsa with its water. Matt's uncle has a cabin on the lake, and we spent Mother's Day here. |
