Entry for February 19, 2007
Hello,
Well Selena celebrated her first Valentines Day last week, not that we did much of anything... She's a sweetheart everyday anyhow. The next Holiday is St. Patrick's Day, and we're Irish! Rich went to New York State for a few days to do some unistallation of computers at some new Kohl's they built there. A cpl weeks ago he went there and installed them, they ones they are uninstalling were the ones that ppl fill out job applications on. I guess they hired everyone they needed. (Speak of the Devil he just called). Selena's been really hungry lately, she eats and eats so much that she makes me sore. The other night she just kept crying and crying for food that finally I gave in and went to the store and bought her some rice baby cereal. First Destiney and I tried feeding it to her with a spoon, but I don't think she's ready for that yet. Everything we put in her mouth came back out! So I've been putting just a little bit in a bottle for her 1-2 times a day. She sucks it down like nothing too! Here's a pic of Destiney feeding her, and then her face after attempting to eat some.
Also, Destiney was so cute with her the other night, I was trying to get some housework done, and as usual Selena wanted my undivided attention. So, Destiney took care of her. She put her in her swing and since the batteries are dead (I don't know why the manufacturers don't make an AC Adapter for those things!!) she was pushing her in her swing. I wish I had the Camcorder handy at the time because she was also singing "Rock a bye baby" to her. It was so adorable!! I took some pics of that too!
Yesterday, when I dropped Rich off at "the shop" to leave for NY, afterwards I went to Target and bought Selena some shoes. They are so cute, they are white with pink trim. First I tried on a 0-3 months size, but they seemed to just fit so I went with the 3-6 months. They're adorable, she has so many pink outfits that they'll match with nearly everything! I've been trying to take a picture of her with them all afternoon, but it seemed each time I tried she'd start crying. LOL. She's content now, let me try! YEAH! I got one, she's not looking towards me, but I have the shoes. This is a picture filled entry! LOL!
So that's about the gist of things for now, Selena's fussing so I better tend to her. :-)
