| How to afford living on a JCSC Salary 1. Remember that Goodwill and Salvation Army stores are your friend. 2. Buying in bulk will help you save over the long haul 3. Go the library to get a book or rent a video 4. Forget CDs- Use the radio! 5. Sales, Sales and more sales 6. Always buy the Brand X version of a food 7. Need to buy a card or get a present for someone?? You can make it with arts n' crafts... 8. "Waste not, want not" 9. Cook at home, go to a restaurant sparingly 10. Avoid impulse buying, think about all purchases 11. Anything free that you can get- go for it.. Whether it be meals, t-shirts, pens, gum, etc.. JUST GET IT :-) 12. Join a shul not only for spirtual awakenings but for the Oneg afterwards!! |
