How Dave proposed to me....I got home last night and Dave was unloading the car from going to the grocery store to get stuff for dinner. I was changing Rachel and I saw him bring something in. I went into the kitchen and there was a dozen long stemmed red roses - they were absolutely beautiful!!! I asked him what they were for and he said,
"Because I love you and I want you to marry me"
when I turned around he had a ring box in his outstretched hand....
and I said,
"YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and I gave him bunches of kisses as he opened the box for me. It was my great grandmother's ring, all pretty and cleaned up. I told him that I loved him and was hugging him when he said,
"Good! That means that I can take back THIS one that I got!"
and I said,
"HUH UH!!!!"
and he handed me another ring box with the most beautiful ring set in it! It is the one that we had looked at a couple weeks ago that I really wanted!
