Note; Per Pat Byrne Thurmes there is a tombstone for a child named Catherine Byrne at the St Rose Catholic Cemetary near our family tombstones. This particular stone say that Catherine Byrne, born 1871, died 1876, age 5 yrs and 5 mos. daughter of R. M. Byrne...perhaps this is the Catherine Byrne born to Richard and Mary Byrne. I do not know if Richards middle initial was M.
Also note that there is a Catherine Byrne who married George Holzer 07/01/1890 Grant County marriage records Vol. 11, p. 146. It is unknown which Catherine Byrne this was. Per notes of Helen Cross Kelly
