| Well i finally did it about the begining of the year I diecieded that. I could'nt take Scotland's narrow mind anymore, No offense I love my country but I couldn't be accepted up there. So I packed my bag's and set of for pastures new. I literally for some reason arrived in manchester with about Two Hundred pound in my pocket. I checked into Monroes hotel becuase It was right next to Piccadilly station and it was Cheap. (Little did I know it was a Tranny and Gay Friendly hotel!!!). The next day i began searching for a flat and came across a room to rent in Moss-side (I should have realised it was rough by the Iron Gates on the door). Luckily i had seen the ad on a gay site so at least I knew they where Gay Friendly. My first week in Manchester was a lonely one, the only thing that really happend was a guy getting shot at the end of the road. I must have walked through the Gay Village about 5 or 6 times looking for work which i found with Sony. It was only while i was asking for directions that someone pointed out that i was walking through the Gay village. I must have Kicked myself twenty times. So i started checking out the Village first letting myself revert back to the butch mode of me that i hate, Man i had discovered The fountain of youth. I soon made friend's and then the party really began. I was out with some of my new found friend's they took me to club called Essential. It look pretty Drab from the outside, I thought it would be a dive. When i got inside my mind soon changed. I have Discovered Heaven, A dance Music (and Pop club), T*Friendly, and Guys and Girlies ALL IN ONE VENUE!!! I thought i must be dreaming. As i grew more femme by the minute, things back in moss-side were not so rosy, I dont know why but things were just weird. The owners ended up shutting me out on the streets for two nights (Sleeping rough in moss-side is not pleasent, Then letting me in at 8am to kick me out becuase i couldn't get my rent till the afternoon. I will make no further comment on my opinions becuase im not a nasty person. |
