MUSICAL THEATRE
Her first audition for a show was for the Australian Premiere of Cats' Rachael was only 13. Probably because of her age, they asked her to wait until the Melbourne Premiere of Cats. She performed in the Melbourne Season as Rumpleteazer. Following this, she went into television for a while.
In 1992, she performed in a one-woman show, written by her father, John Beck, Young Judy, in which she played the role of Judy Garland.
She has also performed for the Sydney Theatre Company as Fredrike in A Little Night Music.
She returned to commercial musical theatre in the highly successful Australian/New Zealand tour of Me And My Girl, playing the role of Sally Smith, opposite Derek Metzger.
She then performed as Belle in Melbourne Premiere season of Beauty and the Beast - The Broadway Musical in 1995/96. Her performance was immortalised on the original Australian Cast Album, which won an Aria Award for Best Australian Soundtrack/Cast/Show release in 1996.
Then, in 1997 and 1998, she toured Sydney and Melbourne as Fantine in Les Miserables. Because of her brilliant portrayal, she was nominated for a Green Room Award.
In mid-2000, she then played Princess Maria in The Production Company's Call Me Madam.
In October 2000, she started performing the role of Maria in Perth in the highly successful SEL/John Frost production of The Sound of Music.
Following The Sound of Music in Perth, she performed opposite Peter Cousens and Rhonda Burchmore in Guys and Dolls - The Concert, with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.
She then went back to the next and final season of The Sound of Music in Adelaide. In the role of Maria, she received rave reviews for her protrayal.
She is currently performing in the highly successful Australiasian tour of Singin' In The Rain, receiving standing ovations every night. She is playing the lead role of Kathy Seldon, which she is enjoying immensely. Some of the stopovers in this tour include Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Hong Kong and Singapore.
TELEVISION
She then went into television in This Man, This Woman. She has performed in many television programs over the years, including cameos in A Country Practice, The Feds, Mercury, GP, Flying Doctors, and Family & Friends.
Her most famous role on Television is, without a doubt, when she played Sam in the Seven Network's comedy series Hey Dad! for over three years.
This Man, This Woman was a four hour miniseries for the ABC. Family and Friend was a soap opera series seen on the Nine Network. She plays the daughter of an Italian family.
Most recently she appeared in Stingers, and was surprised on the Nine Network's Surprise, Surprise.
THEATRE
She has performed in many plays, including Henry IV (Lady Mortimer, Sydney Theatre Company) and others.
Most recently she has performed in Melbourne and Sydney in Secret Bridesmaids Business, playing the role of Naomi.
