Another week down with only two more points races left in the 2004 season. After having some bad luck last week with barely making it to the track and then losing a cv shaft. We came home with a 5th place finish again. In the heat we started in the back just like always with the track very slippery and very muddy we worked are way through the field and finished third. Then it came feature time. The track was tacky but was very very rough. The car was very loose and hard to handle. Started 10th but went backwards a couple spots but finally got the handle of the car and finally started moving forward. After some cautions we finally brougth the number 21 home in 5th spot. Not a bad night but we did lose the points lead and fell to second. Still two weeks to go so it is anybodys championship to win and we are not going to give up yet. Thanks to all my sponsors and we will see you next week at the track! |
