Ok, So I'm a girl..I don't pay attention sometimes when I'm driving. It happens to the best of us! June 2, 2002 I was driving to school for the very last time (last day of school) and I have driven this route time and time again without a problem until of course, the very last time I would ever have to drive it. I was all distracted by this stupid car with a new paint job and shiny hubcaps that was for sale on the side of the road. It was $1800 and it was a POS! But, it was a distraction none the less. Well, as I'm NOT paying attention to the road in front of me, a nice man named Mike was waiting to make a left hand turn in his old Astro Mini van until...I plowed into him! Whoops! Unluckily, I was "inbetween insurance companies" at the time. Yeah, another Whoops! Mike was really nice about it though and I told him not to worry, I would pay for everything. Well, to make a longer story short, I did about $600+ damage to his van but he got his van towed in the midst of all of this and he needed $300 cash to get it out so he called us up and said to just bring him $300. RIGHT ON!! So now, everytime I drive by his apartment and see his poor van with a bashed up bumper, I think to myself... I will buy him a new car someday if I become unusually rich or win the lottery. Anyways, my car on the other hand had "issues" to say the least. She needed a new front bumper, a new headlight, a new fog light, and the frame straitend. That was the most expensive part. $600 to straiten the frame a little. Anyways, I now have her fixed but she now has a lovely white front bumper that will hopefully be painted soon!
