I am an honors student at Wesleyan School, and it consumes much of my time. When I am not racing or doing homework, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, and enjoying generally being a kid. My other hobby is SCUBA diving. I have only raced for 3 seasons now and going on 4. So far, I have endured numerous different racing challenges: making it out of novice in QM's, survived a few interesting crashes, won 3 races, gotten DQed from the 2001 Grand Nationals for rough driving (oops), and finished 15th out of 40 cars in the 2002 Grands. I have made numerous top 3 finishes and nothing less than a top ten. Currently in karting, I have only completed a handfull of races, but several more fill the schedual. Hopefully this season will prove to be more of a learning season than a winning one. I fully intend to continue to work on my skills and learn more about cars in general. Hopefully, one day I can step it up to Shifter karts and maybe, sometime in the far future, make it to F1, Cart, NASCAR, or something else with 4 wheels and a motor. As long as I am racing it is all good; I will take what I can get! For as long as I can remember my whole family has been obsessed with cars and, more specifically, racing. Most of my life I was the black sheep when it came to racing. I said "Racing is stupid. All you do is go around in circles. Racers aren't atheletes. I will never race." I learned to never say never! Auto racing could addict anyone. |
