The T-virus was developed in the underground Hive Facility. Among it's developers Albert Wesker whom later join the S.T.A.R.S team (Special Tactics and Rescue Service) to remove the evidence from the Raccoon Forest laboratory after the initial public breach in July 1998. Pervious to that a deadly out-break occured in the HIVE fllowing a security breach insited by a mole, an undercover Umbrella employee under the codename "Spencer".
After the Red Queen released a specimen in the defense of HIVE security, a civilian was directly infected by a concentated Strain of the T-virus. The civlian mutated into the subject which later become NEMESIS project. After the failure of Tyrant testing, two subjects were put through test, one NEMESID, the other codename Mr. X. Months after Raccoon Forest Incident, Umbrella Corp. Opening the HIVE resulting in a catastrophic viral containment failure. Raccoon City is exposed to the T-virus. Meanwhile working on the second strain of the G-virus. |
