| Feeding Your Snake |
| Most snakes that are kept are smaller snakes like garter snakes. All garter snakes need are worms for when they're young, and feeder fish when older. But other larger snakes need more complicated food. Many need frozen mice or even chickens! You have to jiggle the carcases to make them look alive, or the snake will not eat it. Ask your pet store about feeding. |
