| 10 Avril 2001, Okay, so its really the 10th now. I know my sleeping hours suck, but Ke Garne! Today we will discuss clothing. I love my pjs! There is nothing i own more comfortable than my pajama pants. My faves: white with pink, red, and magenta circles scattered around, and white flannel with big light blue stars. Next favorite thing to wear, and what i wear around the house most often: a vintage tablecloth. Yup, you read it correctly. It started in Nepal: they have an article called a lungi. A lungi is a wide strip of fabric sewn together to form a tube. You step in, fold the excess over and tuck or tie it at the waist. This can also be worn as a sarong type of thing. And guys wear these too, especially in India, but i don't remember what they call them there. Well, so one day i was sick of wearing the same old lungi and i had brought this tablecloth thing with to use as a sheet. I got up, wrapped it around me, and went downstairs to brush my teeth. Suddenly it occurred to me that i could wear as a skirt, which i promtly proceeded to do. Anyway, here i am, many years later, still wearing my tablecloth. Its not jsut any tablecloth, mind you. Its is tres chic! I usually wear it as a sarong though. It makes me feel very decadent, feminine, and quite sexy. I really don't know if i actually look any of those in it, but thats how it makes me feel. I can also easily pick up any random length of fabric and wrap it around me too. Another fave is a satin sheet that i use as a floor cloth or photo shoots. We have many, many other favorite things to wear outside of the house, but that would take too long to describe. Now, don't go thinking that i am a clothes horse or anything, cause i am certainly not that. I can't even remember the last time i went shopping (i hate shopping)! What else? i am tired of talking about boys. Hmmph! Brain freeze. Okay then, thats all for now. Oh i have been adding stuff to my art, photography by me, and words pages, so check it out. I really wish i could figure out how to add an email link...hmmmm............. Okay, here is a little guest book thingy...tell me something. If you'd rather email me, its: [email protected] |
