The rose city game was the first tournament for team permafrost, I thik we we did a great job.this tournament was a five on five center flag game that is timed for fifteen minuets. Each team got points for getting the other teams men out, pulling the flag and taking it to your opponents base. everyones guns had to be shooting under 300 fps this became a problem for me since my gun (the VM-68) was shooting 340 - 350 I had to adjust the valve and that took a while so i sat out the first game.But after that it was on.
Our main plan was me and luke stormed up the left side as fast as we could to gain control over the forward most bunker which was close to the flag. Russ or paul would head up the right and clear that flank while kevin and terry went up the middle. This worked great. With terry laying down heavy fire right up the center and kevin yelling out postions of the other team. our opponets forward movement was stopped almost every game. Plus with luke in the forward bunker and me to direct his barrage of paint on the enemy we controlled the battle field from those postions.. This strategy worked for us the last three games and helped us pull off a first place victory. This is a pic of the team with one of our sponsers.
