| If you've seen Fushigi Yugi before (which we don't doubt because you're at this site ^ ^), we won't get into the details about how she got into the book and such. So we'll just tell you our thoughts on her. Lina's Thoughts: Miaka...hmm...Not much I can say about her. She seems the typical anime heroine. She's a whiny, clumsy school girl who has a great love for food. Most anime heroines have one or more of these qualities. I didn't really begin to appriciate Miaka fully until I got a good bit into the series. She's very loyal, would do anything to keep her warriors, as well as friends, out of harm's way. Sure she can be whiny, and I have heard from a few people she just needs to go far, far away. I think Miaka makes the series. I mean she IS the one the story mainly centers around (Until the OVA's at any rate). I just feel she has poor taste in guys. (Dodges the flames now from Tamahome lovers around the world) I mean come on! An emporer has a thing for her! Nevermind about a bandit leader and a very interesting guy! But alas that is for another page...so That's all for now! Adri's Thoughts: Well, I like Miaka. She may be whiny and clumsy, and she can be VERY annoying at times, but overall she's a sweet girl. Bad taste in men, but love is blind. She's loyal to her friends and believes that love conquers all. What girl would not want to be Miaka? I mean, here she is with six gorgeous guys and a cute little kid. What girl wouldn't be happy? The only thing I do not like about Miaka is how blind she is that she doesn't see others who love her. (But it just might be my imagination ^ ^). |
