Lina's Thoughts:
Woohoo!! Hotohori! I must say that he has to be THE sweetest one in the series. And I think that the only thing that ticked me off more than the way Miaka (unintentionally) treats Hotohori is the whole Tamahome "I love you but I can't love you" complex. I truly think Miaka hit her head a few too many times when she turned down this beautiful speciman of a man. =P Well, I mean he is totally devoted to her ***Spoiler warning*** I mean, yeah he gets married... (To someone who looks a bit TOO much like Nuriko) but his last words were Miaka's name. C'mon...there's gotta be something there... ***End Spoiler*** Alright...I think I've rambled long enough. =P ^^
Adri's Thoughts:
I absolutely love Hotohori! I do believe that was not in love with Miaka though. He was in love with the Priestess of Suzaku. He had waited his whole life for her to appear and it would not have mattered if it was her or Yui or anyone else. Despite that, I do think he came to really care for Miaka as a person. He was a great emperor and oh so sexy ^ ^ I really wish we could have seen even more of him in the series. |
