Manny Ramirez parked the next pitch into deep center. The Bo' Sox destroyed the struggling Blue Jays.
We got a room at the Toronto Hilton (the Ramada, built right into centerfield, was booked). We were in the lobby and I noticed two gentlemen sitting on a couch. I thought they might have been old co-workers, or classmates- they looked very familiar. I was about to approach them when I realized it was Rey Sanchez and Manny Ramirez. Steph and I, by coincidence, had stayed at the same hotel as the Red Sox.
The Skydome is a beautiful place to see a game. Before we got there I was predisposed to dislike domes, but the Skydome came through. It was a beautiful night, so they slid the roof open to reveal the enormous CN Tower looming overhead. Toronto is a suitable town. I would describe it as 'North Chicago,' just with weaker beer.
