The Cardinals, White Sox, and Mets...a Cubs fan's evil trifecta. I had hopes that Shea would be an armpit, and thankfully I was not let down. If you don't go deaf from the airplanes making their final approach, you'll probably asphixiate from the smog. It's as if the nation's jewel, NYC, shamefully banished the 'Metropolitennes' to this Queens wasteland. We did have fun on this visit though- thanks to Maddox throwing a one-hitter. |
