Sound Blaster Live!™ Platinum features the innovative
Live! Drive. The Live! Drive provides front panel access
that allows you to simultaneously connect both digital and
analog devices such as home stereo receivers, MIDI
instruments, digital devices, and headphones. The Live!
Drive features convenient connectivity to S/PDIF in, S/PDIF
out, line in (mic in), headphone out, MIDI in, and MIDI out.

The EMU10K1 processor also
gives you all the power you need to process effects in real
time so that they can easily be added during recording or
playback. Sound Blaster Live! Platinum provides hardware
acceleration for Environmental Audio, DirectSound® 3D,
DirectSound for the best gaming performance. Every audio
signal is processed with a full 32-bit, 48KHz digital signal
processor and patented 8-point interpolation to produce
precise audio fidelity. Utilize up to 32 3D hardware
accelerated channels, 64 hardware accelerated channels, or
1024 voices for the most intense listening experience.
