Our Association began in March 1996. Our main focus is to promote and encourage the rabbit and cavy industry through ARBA Shows; to uphold the ARBA system of standards and registration; to encourage fairness, honesty, good sportsmanship and education among the association�s members, youth groups, and the general public whether they are serious breeders or simply enjoying their pet.
Many of our members belong to more than one Club - National Specialty clubs, The American Rabbit Breeders Association, Vancouver Island Rabbit Breeders Association.
Some of our members are from outside the Victoria area.
We offer animals for pet stock, breeding stock, Show stock, and commercial meat stock. Within our group there are many different breeds of rabbits and cavies (guinea pigs).
As an Association we sponsor the Luxton Fair Show (http://www.luxtonfair.ca) and the Cowichan Fair Show ([email protected]).
