| Hello, my name is Jonathan and I have a variety of hobbies!!! Some of the hobbies I have include: biking, having fun, playing the piano, playing the sax, playing the drums, playing the french horn, being in marching band, going to church, helping people, loving animals, and being nice. I attend the Boys and Girls Club in Newnan where I also help out!! I plan to become an obstetrician!! My steps to become that are to, 1. Attend a local college and major a dual in special education and premed, 2. Find a career as a special ed teacher and continue to go to Med school (Morehouse School of Medicine), and become a doctor and finally, 3. To live out my days being a obstetrician. |

| My Lifetime Hobby: |
| The hobby I have chosen is raising, breeding, and showing purebred netherland dwarf rabbits. I think that at any young age, a youth should choose a hobby to participate in and do it throughout their lifetime! When I began, it was the Decemb-er of 1999. I had asked my parents could I get a rabbit for Christmas, but I didn't get it so I waited a few more months. In February of 2000, I had asked my dad, again, when I was going to get a rabbit and he decided to find out if he could find one for me. My dad went on to call the Coweta County Extension Office and we found out that there was a Rabbit and Cavy Club in our local 4-H program. We both talked to the Coordinator and she said that there was a show in Perry, Georgia and that I could be able to go because there was plenty of room. I went on to the show and could not find anything of my interest and when it was almost time to go, I ran across a breeder named Gary Smith and he had an awesome Orange Netherland Dwarf Buck. I brought $40.00 to the show, but through my talking and explaining to him what I wanted to do with rabbits, he decided to sell him to me for $15.00!!! I really thanked him and thanked our 4-H leader for getting me started! And That's Where I Began!!! |
