Closest-to-the-Pin on hole # 17 = 2nd qualifier for the
Western Division Skins Game
| The Go Blue Classic debuted in 2005 as a western division
tournament. The 18-hole, individual, stroke-play, net score
tournament has a Maize and Blue feel with several on-course
challenges for U of M door prizes.
Additionally,
If
Michigan beats Ohio State in the previous year’s football game,
players get a “4th and inches” tap-in (If player
can touch thumb to ball and pinky to cup, the ball can be
considered holed). This did NOT happen (Nov.22, 2008: OSU
42 - UM 7)
If
Michigan beats Michigan State in the previous year's football
game, players get an additional "mulligan" to be used on
any hole. This did NOT happen (Oct.25, 2008: MSU
35 - UM 21)
