An ex-gang leader, who decided to pursue teaching. At first glance, he may appear to be an absolute moron (well, I thought so), but he can relate very well with his students and knows much about life. Unfortunately, he is an absolute pervert and only talks about getting a girlfriend. He is the teacher who is believed to be the one who can save the infamous class 3-4 from it's tortured past.

The weakest member of class 3-4. He was the first person who joined Onizuka. He is constantly bullied by Anko Uehara, which once caused him to commit a failed suicide attempt. He is talented when it comes to video games.

He is the president of class 3-4. He is an expert when it comes to hacking and image modification. He led the first attempt to get Onizuka fired by modifying pictures of Onizuka. After the attempt however, he is puzzled by him and eventually joins him. He is a great help to Onizuka with his computer skills and his incredible 180 IQ. He is usually very serious and cold towards others.

She is known as the "Teacher Killer" as she made 2 teachers quit. Unlike her classmates, she hates all teachers. She has an IQ of 200, thus she is very special. She performs a variety of dagerous pranks such as causing every dust bin in school to suddenly explode and setting the science teacher's hair on fire. She has a dark past which causes her present behavior. Onizuka will eventually help her accept her past and open her heart.

He acts like a tough guy with a short temper, but he's actually a mama's boy. This 15 year-old has a 28 year-old beauty for a mother, the reason why he doesn't like Onizuka around her. He likes to play pranks on Onizuka, but eventually realizes that it is better to take sides with him than against him.

She may possibly hate teachers more than Urumi Kanzaki. She is the reason of class 3-4's hatred for teachers. She has a deep secret concerning one of her past teachers. She comes up with a series of plans to get rid of Onizuka. As her allies continue to decrease, she eventually gives up after a counselling session with Onizuka.

She is teased because of her stupidity and slowness. She has big breasts but a small brain, that's what they tell her. Onizuka gives her the opportunity to prove herself and tell everyone that she is not stupid.

She ia a rich girl who enjoys bullying Yoshikawa. She bullies because she herself was once bullied. She eventually stops bullying Yoshikawa because of Onizuka.

She is Onizuka's fellow teacher. She enjoys teaching her students. She willingly learns from Onizuka's lessons. She seems to like Onizuka's teaching methods. She is initially hated by her students, but the learn like her.
