| Gordon Corbett is a graduate of the University of Maine and has Taught elementary science for 26 years. During this time, he has presented many science seminars, workshops and collage courses for teachers throughout thenortheast. Mr Corbett was selected as Yarmouth, Maine's teacher of the year in 1979 and Main's teacher of the year in 1980.He was selected to represent Maine in the teacher-In-Space Program and remains active in that role. More recently Gordon was the recipient of the Frank G. Brewer, CAP Memorial Aerospace Award for notable contributions in aerospace education and in 1994, received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Maine in Machias. |
