as the Haven came away with a fifth place finish.
Graced with loyal supporters, Lock Haven University lies in the heart of

of support and we attribute a great deal of the success that we've enjoyed
to them.''
There is little question that Lock Haven University, a school of 3,400

All-Americans who have combined for 33 certificates.
The success of the Bald Eagle wrestling teams has culminated during the

Senior Cary Kolat capped off a perfect 25-0 season by winning his second
straight national championship,
claiming top honors in the 142-pound weight class and setting the stage
for a school record five All-

(158) and Mike Geurin(177), and
sophomore Terry Showalter (126).
Several factors have led to the prosperity of the Lock Haven program during
the 1990s.
'Ffirst off, what we have beenable to accomplish can be attributed
to a strong tradition and outstanding
administrative support, ''said Poff. ''in addition, i feel our coaching
stuff has been able to attract quality
recruits and maintain positive relationships with them on both a professional
and personal level.
most importantly, the student-athletes who have come into our program
understand that the foundation of
our success is biult our program understand that the foundation of
our success is built upon a team concept
where each athlete gives of himself for the good of the team.''
