Light Switch

Back to Ron's Puzzle Page!

You're in room A.

There is a door to room B. When the door is closed you have no idea what's happening in room B. The door closes automatically a few seconds after it's opened.

There are 3 switches in room A. All are in the off position. The door is on the wall opposite the switches. If you open the door, by the time you walk over to the switches the door will have closed.

There is a lamp in room B sitting on a table. It's off.

One of the switches in room A turns on the lamp in room B.

You can only open the door and enter room B once.

How can you determine which switch controls the light bulb?
