Riverland Shotokan recognises prior learning in Shotokan karate-do (confirmation grading required if no training for extended period of time).

First lesson free of charge (per beginner) then $8 (or $7 with 20 class pass) as follows:
Juniors (under 17 y.o.) pay first 6 classes of your 4 week month at $8 each with balance free ($48 max or $42 with 20 C/P). eg, if training twice weekly, pay for 6 and get 2 free lessons.
Seniors (17 and over) pay first 8 classes of your 4 week month at $8 each with any more classes free ($64 max or $56 with 20 C/P).
Families (2 or more, all ages) pay first 10 classes of your 4 week month at $8 per head with balance free ie, pay a maximum of $80 (or $70 with 20 C/P) for 4 weeks of training. eg, If 2 training twice weekly, pay for 10 and get 6 free, if 3 training pay 10 and get 14 free classes. (Note: In such cases, 2 training in the same session would be counted as 2 classes)

Kyu grade advancement fee, payable prior to grade examination. Please note, all our Kyu gradings (coloured belts) are registered with SKI Australia while our Dan grades (black belts) are registered with both SKIA and SKIF in Tokyo. While coloured belt gradings are conducted by SKIA national instructors, most black belt gradings are currently conducted by Kanazawa Kancho:

Note: For eligibility to grade on a regular basis, regular training is required. This means getting your priorities right. Try to attend as many classes as posible by organising your social evenings etc so that they do not clash. Aim for at least 36 hrs training time between coloured belt gradings and 72 hrs training between brown belt gradings.
