The Lord knoweth the reasonings of the wise, that they are vain
Masoretic Text

Jehovah knoweth the thoughts of man, That they are vanity
Comments:  The NT, LXX and the MT agree in general.  The NT author has employed poetic license with his substitution of  “the wise” for  “men.”
