Septuagint

Thus saith the Lord, Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool:  what kind of a house will ye build me?  and of what kind is to be the place of my rest?  ...

New Testament

The heaven is my throne,
And the earth the footstool of my feet:
What manner of house will ye build me, saith the Lord;
Or what is the place of my rest?
Did not my hand make all these things?

Masoretic Text

Thus saith Jehovah, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool:  what manner of house will ye build unto me? and what place shall be my rest?  For all these things hath my hand made

Comments:  The NT, LXX and the MT agree.  It appears that Brenton neglected to translate the question “Did not my hand make all these things?” which is present in the LXX Greek.
