Septuagint

Have ye offered to me victims and sacrifices, O house of Israel, forty years in the wilderness?  Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Rephan, the images of them which ye made for yourselves.  And I will carry you away beyond Damascus, saith the Lord, the Almighty God is his name

New Testament

But God turned, and gave them up to serve the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, Did ye offer unto me slain beasts and sacrifices Forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?  And ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, And the star of the god Rephan, The figures which ye made to worship them:  And I will carry you away beyond Babylon

Masoretic Text

Did ye bring unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?  Yea, ye have borne the tabernacle of your king and the shrine of your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.  Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith Jehovah, whose name is the God of hosts

Comments:  The RSV translates verse 26 as, “You shall take up Sakkuth your king, and Kaiwan your star-god, your images, which you made for yourselves.”  The NIV has, “You have lifted up the shrine of your king, the pedestal of your idols, the star of your god - which you made for yourselves.”

There is some variation in the order of wording in verse 25 in the Septuagint.  Rahlf gives, “mh sfagia kai qusiaV proshnegkate moi en th erhmw tessarakonta eth.” Autwn, omitted by the NT, is also absent from Codex Alexandrinus.
