ta qusiasthria sou kateskayan, kai 
touV profhtaV sou apekteinan 
en romfaia,
kai upoleleimmai egw monwtatoV, 
kai zhtousi thn yuchn mou labein authn ...

oti egkatelipon thn diaqhkhn sou oi uioi  Israhl:  kai
ta qusiasthria sou kaqeilan, 
kai touV profhtaV sou apekteinan
en romfaia,
kai upoleleimmai egw monwtatoV, 
kai zhtousi thn yuchn mou labein authn

kurie,
touV profhtaV sou apekteinan, 
ta qusiasthria sou keteskayan, 

kagw upeleifqhn monoV 
kai zhtousin thn yuchn mou

And Eliu said, I have been very jealous for the Lord Almighty, because the children of Israel have forsaken thee:  they have digged down thine altars, and have slain thy prophets with the sword; and I only am left alone, and they seek my life to take it ... Lord, they have killed thy prophets, they have digged down thy altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life

And he said, I have been very jealous for Jehovah, the God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword: and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away ...
